Decision uphold at the general meeting of the founders
of the World Academy of Arts "New Era"

THE STATUTE OF TITLES OF WORLD'S ACADEMY OF ARTS "NEW ERA"

1. General Regulations

1.1 This Statute defines the list of titles of the World's Academy of Arts ‘New Era’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘The Academy’), the procedure and terms of conferment, the duties of the Academy’s conferred, as well as the grounds for deprivation of one’s rank.

1.2 The Academy’s titles can be awarded for contributing to the development of artists’ activity throughout the world, raising their authority and expanding the possibilities for active collaboration, providing necessary conditions for their wellbeing and creative self-realization, fruitful scientific and artistic activity, professional and creative advancement; for raising the competitiveness of the Academy in whole, or its separate members and subdivisions in the world market.

1.3 The Academy’s titles can be awarded to the citizens of the Russian Federation and other countries: to professional art workers (painting, sculpture, graphics), and workers of architecture, applied arts, design, jewelry, artisans – the authors of their own works of art, who have achieved significance and recognition in the world of art, restorers, art critics, notable public figures and statesmen, scientists and businessmen who made significant contributions to the development of art, who recognize and support the Academy’s goals.

2. The Titles of the Academy

2.1 The titles of the Academy are:

    • ‘Corresponding member’
    • ‘Full member (Academician)’
    • ‘Honorable Academician’

2.2 The title of ‘Corresponding member’ can be conferred on the ones who have contributed to the development of effective creative technologies, international consolidation of the high art’s position, raising of its objective authority and expanding the possibilities for active collaboration for the professional art workers.

2.3 The title of ‘Full member (Academician)’ can be conferred on outstanding specialists in the field of practical creative development and social partnership: for contributing to the establishment and development of the international and intercultural fellowship; for contributing to the education of the rising generation and its creative development based on the principles of humanism and tolerance; for contributing to the establishment and development of international, interregional and transcontinental relations, as well as dialogue and partnership of cultures, systems, religions and civilizations.

2.4 The title of ‘Honorable Academician’ can be conferred on the ones who have contributed to the forming and spreading of the effective experience of preservation and development of artistic diversity and cultural traditions, cultural originality of the peoples of Russia and beyond.

3. The procedure of conferment of the Academy’s titles.

3.1 The issues of conferment of the titles are examined by the Presidium of the Academy.

3.2 3.2 The issues of conferment are placed for consideration by the Academic Senate of the Academy. The application contains the following information:

    • brief description of the nominee’s services;
    • indication of the nominee’s eligibility for the conferment, according to this Statute.

3.3 The person approved for the conferment of a title has to fill, sign with one’s own hand and post to the Academy a questionnaire in accordance with a set form. The term allotted for filing is set by the Presidium of the Academy. The Academy’s conferee receives a diploma and a standard Academy medal; other academicals (a gown, a cap etc.) can also be presented. The diplomas and medals can be given during commencements.
If the conferee cannot attend the commencement, the diploma, the medal and other academicals that are subject to be handed over to the conferee can be presented to their authorized representative, sent to them by mail or handed over later.

4. The Academy conferee’s duties and rights

4.1 A person conferred with a title of the Academy’s Corresponding member or Full member has to:

    • participate in the Academy’s activities, including the realization of the Academy’s programs and projects;
    • participate in the Academy’s activities, including the realization of the Academy’s programs and projects;
    • facilitate the establishment and development of contacts necessary for the accomplishment of the Academy’s objectives and goals;
    • propagate the Academy’s ideas and goals, including by spreading positive information about the Academy’s activity;
    • facilitate the formation and maintenance of the Academy’s good business reputation;
    • further the flow of new Academy members to extend the area of implementation for social and creative projects;
    • pay the prescribed admission membership fees in time.

4.2 The rights of a person conferred with a title of the Academy’s Corresponding member, Full member or Honorable Academician..

4.2.1 A Corresponding member has the right to:

    • get access to any information about the Academy’s plans and events;
    • participate in any academic activity;
    • wear badges and regalia confirming their membership in the Academy;
    • consult the Academy’s bodies with any question and receive the necessary information;
    • represent, by order of the academic bodies, the Academy’s interest at the public authorities and bodies of local self-government and organizations;
    • mention the title ‘Corresponding member’ in any official or personal document concerning their professional or social activity.

4.2.2 A Full member (Academician) has the right to:

    • get access to any information about the Academy’s plans and events;
    • participate in any academic activity;
    • wear badges and regalia confirming their membership in the Academy;
    • consult the Academy’s bodies with any question and receive the necessary information;
    • represent, by order of the academic bodies, the Academy’s interest at the public authorities and bodies of local self-government and organizations;
    • mention the title ‘Full member (Academician)’ in any official or personal document concerning their professional or social activity.

4.2.3 A Honorable Academician has the right to wear badges and regalia confirming their membership in the Academy.

4.3 The Presidium of the Academy can decide to deprive a member of the title if:

    • an Academy’s conferee does not obey the legislation of the Russian Federation, the regulations presented in the Academy body’s deeds or this Statute;
    • an Academy’s conferee commits an act (or shows inaction) that discredits the Academy’s reputation;
    • an Academy’s conferee commits an act (or shows inaction) that makes or can make the Academy incur losses;
    • an Academy’s conferee failed to participate in the Academy’s events without a valid reason 2 (two) or more times in a row;
    • an Academy’s conferee is subject to a penal consequence that prohibits them from exercising their authority;
    • an Academy’s conferee or a judicial person headed by them is held administratively liable for an administrative violation according to the administrative offences legislation;
    • there is a reason to consider an Academy conferee’s actions (or inaction) not meeting the requirements presented by the legislation of the Russian Federation, the Academy’s local deeds, the decisions of the Presidium of the Academy or this Statute.
